ST. MICHAEL, MN, Nov. 24, 2014 -- U.S. Water Services, Inc., a national provider of integrated solutions for water treatment, recently received the California Game Changer Company of the Year Award for its ongoing efforts in helping companies and organizations across the state of California reduce their water use through a variety of integrated solutions.
The California Game Changer of the Year Award recognizes individuals and companies who have made a significant statewide impact either economically or regarding key issues within California.
In an effort to conserve freshwater resources, state facilities are actively working to reduce water use 20 percent by the year 2020. U.S. Water has been working with California agriculture, medical centers and businesses by using integrated methods that combine chemical, equipment, engineering, automation, and service to help facilities achieve this goal.
U.S. Water's Alexandra Causey accepted the honor from California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development's Oliver Rosenbloom at the 100th Annual Vanguard Awards Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 20, at Chico State University in the city of Chico, Calif.
