AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – A solar powered project in the Netherlands is using a combination of water quality monitoring and ultrasound technology to control algae in a recreational lake.

Dutch company LG Sonic is behind the ultrasound MPC-Buoy technology.

As can be seen in the video below, each system has a treatment range of 500m in diameter.
