WESTERVILLE, Ohio, March 5, 2002 -- In an effort to underscore the expertise and professionalism members of the National Ground Water Association (NGWA) bring to ground water science and industry, NGWA has introduced a new tagline, "It's more than just water." NGWA also has updated its logo with new colors and type style.
The Association's new tagline portrays its focus on members and all that they bring to the industry that provides ground water for consumer, agricultural, and commercial uses; and the science that studies and puts into practice the best ways for people to interact with ground water.
With the tagline, NGWA offers the following promise to consumers: "Left to its own devices, ground water remains underground; however, it ceases to be "just" water the very moment that we need it to serve our purposes. Enter the ground water professional. With five little words, NGWA hopes to convey that we share a dedication to excellence and that we are committed to making sure that "it's more than just water" by providing the best quality product on every job, every site, every time, for every consumer."
In the upcoming months, NGWA's new look will be incorporated into its Web site, www.NGWA.org, as well as newsletters, journals, and brochures.
National Ground Water Association members include more than 16,000 U.S. and international ground water professionals-contractors, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and ground water scientists and engineers. NGWA members are committed to this basic understanding: when you are a ground water professional, it's more that just water. NGWA provides members, government, and the general public with the scientific knowledge and economic guidance necessary to responsibly develop, protect, and manage the world's ground water resources.
