GENEVA, June 24, 2002 -- Blue Industries Inc. announced Monday that it has started shipping drinking water purification systems to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The initial shipment included 15 of the company's P6 Drinking Water Treatment Plants, which are able to process 1,500 gallons per day, and two of the company's P60 Drinking Water Treatment Plants, which are able to process 15,000 gallons per day. A second shipment is scheduled for mid-September.
Commenting on the initial shipment to Cambodia, the company's president Fernand Leloroux said: "We are very impressed with the performance of EUPADI, our Cambodian representative. They have only been working with us for two months and we have already made our first substantial sale."
Leloroux continued: "We needed a reliable distributor in that could effectively penetrate the Southeast Asian market and our representative agreement with EUPADI is certainly off to a fine start."
