PHOENIX, AZ, Feb. 16, 2011 -- Arizona American Water is releasing an informational DVD on the White Tanks Regional Water Treatment Facility to help customers understand the value it brings to the west valley. The facility is leading the way to protect our most precious resource -- water.
One of the primary benefits of the White Tanks Water Treatment Facility is that it saves billions of gallons of groundwater each year. The facility uses water from the Colorado River, though the Central Arizona Project instead of water from local wells.
