OMAHA, NE, July 13, 2007 -- HDR is on the team that will be helping provide the technical basis to the EPA Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water as it develops National Primary Drinking Water Regulations for various contaminants, as well as requirements for ground water and Underground Injection Control in accordance with the Safe Drinking Water Act. The five-year project is led by The Cadmus Group Inc.
HDR's responsibilities include developing regulatory guidance manuals, cost estimates and case studies, as well as conducting peer reviews and statistical analyses.
HDR's drinking water and water quality research background includes leading or participating in dozens of projects for the AWWA Research Foundation and Water Environment Research Foundation. The firm also publishes the Safe Drinking Water Act newsletter and the biannual Safe Drinking Water Act wall chart, which has been distributed to nearly a million people since the first edition was launched in 1994.
