Duraliner is a unique patented process for pipeline renewal resulting in a "stand alone" structural lining capable of handling internal minimum operating pressures of 150 psi (Duraliner 150) with a 3.2 safety factor.
Duraliner conforms to NSF 61 Standards for Drinking Water Components/Health Effects. In addition, Duraliner provides an equivalent design-life of new PVC pipelines thus qualifying the rehabilitated pipelines to be capitalized as new assets under the rules of GASB Statement 34. In non-pressure (gravity flow) applications such as sanitary or storm sewers, Duraliner Lite and Duraliner Spot provide economical structural relining solutions.
Mark Smith, UGSI's president and CEO stated, "We are excited about the rapidly growing interest in Duraliner and the entire water line rehabilitation industry. We are currently planning similar events in strategic locations throughout the country."
