DAYTON, OH, May 30, 2008 -- Woolpert Inc. recently announced the acquisition of TEK Science, a stormwater specialty firm, located in Orlando, Fla.

"We will be leveraging our firmwide stormwater experience to offer robust and comprehensive water management solutions to our clients throughout Florida and the Southeast."
TEK Science joins Woolpert with extensive experience in stormwater retrofit design, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) compliance, stormwater drainage design, stormwater modeling and utility design. Woolpert also recently acquired Rockett & Associates of Orlando Park, Fla., a firm that specializes in water distribution and sewer collection.

The firm was integral to the success of a nationally recognized $20 million, 125-unit housing project. As the civil engineer, TEK Science contributed to the overall success of the not-for-profit effort of the Casa San Juan Bosco project to build affordable housing for DeSoto County, Fla., area low-income farm workers and their families.
