William L. SmithSmith joined Waterous in 1997 and was named vice president of manufacturing in 1998. Prior to this, he held positions in materials and manufacturing management with Ansul, a division of Tyco International, and Square D.
"Bill's expert knowledge and application of Lean manufacturing, along with a keen understanding of modern manufacturing equipment and systems, make him ideally suited for this post," said Haugen. "He will ensure that Waterous remains a fierce competitor in this industry."
Haugen joined the company in 1980. He has served as president and CEO since 1993. Prior to this, he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the company.
