CHARLOTTE, NC, April 5, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- WK Dickson & Co. Inc. has announced the opening of a new regional office in Augusta, Ga. The engineering consultant opened the office to better support its growing client base in the region and is a continuation of a recent southern expansion that added to the firm's service reach in north-central Georgia and the South Carolina coast, including new offices near Hilton Head Island, S.C., in early January.

The new Augusta office will be managed by William "Trey" Wingate, PE. Originally from the Augusta area, Wingate has been the Branch Manager of the firm's Hickory, North Carolina office for the past nine years. He is a registered Professional Engineer who specializes in the design and management of municipal water resources and transportation infrastructure as well as site design for private developers and municipalities.
WK Dickson will continue its rapid growth with plans to expand to Tennessee, Virginia and Florida in the near future. "We've developed a successful formula and we plan on becoming a major force in the industry all across the southeast," said Peeler.
