Office of Water officials featured at national water policy dialogue

The American Water Resources Association (AWRA) hosted on Sept. 17 and 18 a National Water Policy Dialogue in Washington, D.C.


Sept. 18, 2002 -- The American Water Resources Association (AWRA) hosted on Sept. 17 and 18 a National Water Policy Dialogue in Washington, D.C.

Assistant Administrator, G. Tracy Mehan, III, kicked off the event by discussing "Restoring and Protecting the Environment."

Deputy Assistant Administrator Benjamin Grumbles spoke about "Water Infrastructure" and Deputy Assistant Administrator Diane Regas discussed "Safety and Security of Water Resources."

Other participants included members of Congress, senior managers from federal agencies, and others throughout the water-resources community.
