Oak Brook, Ill., May 8, 2002 -- Bob Moore has been appointed sales manager-engineered solutions in the Central region of Contech Construction Products Inc., Rocky Owens, regional vice president, has announced.
In this newly created position, Moore will have full product line responsibility in the state of Wisconsin for Contech's engineered solutions which include bridge systems, metric sheeting, bin-type retaining walls, liner plate, bridge plank, railway collector pans, TENSAR®geogrids, PYRAMAT®turf reinforcement mats, Keystone retaining walls, and woven and non-woven geotextiles.
Moore joined Contech in 1990 as an assistant sales engineer. He was promoted to associate sales engineer in January 1991 and to sales engineer in September 1991. In 1996 he relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah, following his promotion to regional sales engineer. In 1998 he was promoted to regional engineer in the former Northcentral region, headquartered in Oak Brook. He was named business development manager in the Northcentral region in 2001.
Moore holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
