LONDON, England - What does water mean to you and your job? Well, we’re giving you the chance to be part of the message.
On March 22 it will be World Water Day, highlighting the fact that 4 billion people now suffer from water scarcity around the world.
The special occasion dates back to the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development, where an international observance for water was recommended.
The United Nations General Assembly responded by designating 22 March 1993 as the first World Water Day.
The theme for the 2016 World Water Day is water and jobs.
Pennwell’s water team will be putting together a video and wants to involve you – water professionals from around the world – to find out how water impacts you.
For the video, simply use the selfie function on your smartphone to record a video and tell us your name and country followed by the statement “Water is…” and then three words.
One example would be: Joe Bloggs, England, Water is fundamental to life.
Once filmed, email the short video clip to: [email protected]
Deadline for videos is Tuesday March 8th.
We will then edit the multiple videos together and publish the best responses on social media and waterworld.com.
Be part of the message – send us your videos now to [email protected]
