Long Beach, Calif. Earth Tech recently announced the acquisition of TAMS Consultants, a $71-million engineering consulting firm headquartered in New York City. TAMS employs 440 professionals in 12 offices around the world, and is well known for its transportation projects worldwide.
"This acquisition strengthens and broadens Earth Tech's transportation capabilities, especially in the areas of planning, architectural design, and project management for air and surface transportation projects," said Diane C. Creel, president of Earth Tech. "We will leverage TAMS global expertise to provide innovative solutions to the complex challenges facing the transportation industry today. This includes airport development, expansion and security, as well as design-build/construction management projects for transit and rail."
TAMS will operate under the Earth Tech umbrella with corporate headquarters in Long Beach, Calif.
