STURBRIDGE, Mass., Sept. 20, 2002 -- CenTROL gravity filters maximize filter area in small building spaces while keeping installation and operating costs to a minimum.
Clustered around a central control column and operating platform, four filter cells can be observed and controlled at once. The stainless steel control column with integral influent distributor is pre-fabricated with filter function valves that have been installed and shop-tested at the factory.
This feature eliminates the need for costly on-site installation and fabrication of a piping gallery. Advanced CenTROL design reduces operating costs by reducing power consumption and service requirements.
A recently developed influent distributor eliminates one to four feet of system headloss without reducing filtration head available. In most applications, each filter cell can be backwashed with water from the cells that are in service, eliminating the need for backwash supply pumps.
Part of the MULTICELL filtration line, the CenTROL filter can be used in applications with large or small flow rates. Multiple CenTROL systems can be used in high-volume applications.
