LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J., Dec. 21, 2000 (PRNewswire) — Envirogen, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENVG) announced the election of William R. Cook to its Board of Directors.
Cook is President and Chief Executive Officer of Severn Trent Services and serves on its Board of Directors. Prior to joining Severn Trent Services, Cook served as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of BetzDearborn, Inc., a $1.3 billion global manufacturer and supplier of specialty chemicals for the treatment of water, wastewater and process systems. BetzDearborn merged with Hercules, Inc. in 1998.
