PLUMSTEADVILLE, PA, Aug. 16, 2011 -- CSA Certification has been issued to Scaletron for its 1020 and 1099 Process Controllers, which provide accurate scale weights and automated use reports in water and wastewater treatment applications. They are used to monitor usage, and inventory of process chemicals and can be used with Scaletron's 150 lb. and ton cylinder, drum, tank, platform, and spill containment scale frames. Both CSA-Certified controllers are housed in NEMA 4X, UL approved enclosures to provide protection from acids.
The CSA Certification affirms that the controllers meet the Safety Requirements for Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control, and Laboratory Use, Part 1 and Enclosures for Electrical Equipment, Environmental Considerations specifications for CSA Certification.
A product bearing CSA Certification marks means it has been tested and meets applicable standards for safety and performance, including the standards written or administered by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA), NSF International (NSF), and others.
