BURLINGTON, MA, Jan. 20, 2006 -- EBI Consulting, a national engineering and environmental health and safety consulting firm based in Burlington, MA, is pleased to announce that Michael Sexton, a senior project engineer at the firm, has obtained the Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

To achieve the P.E. designation, Sexton had to complete multiple educational requirements and examinations as well as four years of training. By reaching this status, he's now qualified to practice engineering within Massachusetts.

Sexton has over 10 years of experience in environmental engineering that includes environmental and property due diligence within the commercial real estate industry as well as engineering compliance solutions for a variety of clients in the wood products, pipe manufacturing, metal foundry, printing, healthcare, and biotech industries. He holds a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is also currently pursuing an MBA at Bentley College. He also holds a holds a Class V-Combined Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator's license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. At EBI Consulting, he specializes in conducting environmental and property due diligence for commercial real estate clients and also assists in the development of permit applications, plans, and studies for regulatory compliance as it relates to air, waste, and wastewater for industrial clients.
