• Dennis Brownley named Vice President at MACTEC
SAN ANTONIO, TX, April 4, 2007 -- Dennis Brownley has been named Vice President at MACTEC Engineering & Consulting (MACTEC E&C). Bruce C. Coles, president of MACTEC E&C and chairman & CEO of MACTEC, Inc., the holding company (www.mactec.com) made the announcement. Brownley is based in MACTEC's San Antonio office.
Brownley joined MACTEC in 2000, following his retirement as Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force (USAF) with over 20 years of service. He served as a base bioenvironmental engineer at four installations worldwide. Brownley subsequently worked at the Occupational and Environmental Health Laboratory where he was appointed chief of technical program management for the $60 million per year USAF installation restoration program.
Brownley serves as MACTEC's program manager for all work performed for the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE). Created in 1991, AFCEE is located at Brooks City Base in San Antonio. AFCEE is the principal environmental services agency for USAF, offering commanders a full range of technical and professional services in the areas of environmental restoration, pollution prevention, environmental compliance, natural and cultural resources conservation, facility design and construction management, and comprehensive planning.
Brownley holds a Master of Science in environmental engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Wyoming.
