HOOD RIVER, OR, Feb. 26, 2007 -- EZkem, provider of segmented flow analysis and discrete analysis consulting and sales, launched its new web site this week. EZkem business owner, Ken Earle, wanted to bring expertise to a field full of brokers.
"Many companies just broker discrete analysis and segmented flow analysis equipment. I've worked in this space for more than 20 years and saw the need with my clients to provide access to parts and consulting from a chemist with experience in the industry," said Earle.
Ken's experience with Flow Analysis began when he was employed by the National Science Foundation research laboratories in Antarctica. The experience he earned there running low level multiple channel nutrient analysis gave him extensive exposure to the complexities and nuances of Flow Analysis. After leaving NSF, Ken entered the private sector and worked directly for Alpkem as their Technical Services Director for several years. While at Alpkem, he worked to develop and improve instrument platforms as well as training, repair and installation protocols for new equipment. When Alpkem was purchased by OI Analytical, Ken became a field service engineer and traveled the world installing and repairing flow analysis instruments.
In 2001, Ken made the decision to found EZkem to better service the Flow Analysis industry and other scientific activities. "Our goal is to provide support for laboratories that work in the spectroscopy fields - including, but not limited to Flow Analysis and the newer, more modern Discrete Analyzer," said Earle.
The EZkem site provides discrete flow and segmented flow analysis equipment, parts and consulting services. "We provide a lot of great technical resources for our customers including articles and white papers to help understand methods and standards," said Earle. "We're starting a blog to open the flow of information for people in the industry. We want to help our customers match their needs with the right product and consulting help they're not getting dealing with brokers," added Earle.
EZkem (www.ezkem.com) provides sales, demos and services segmented flow and discrete flow analysis instruments. It services a number of industries including governmental, environmental, educational, oceanography, mining and other markets that need analytical equipment to comply with government standards.
