Balmoral introduces GFS tank range to U.S. market.
“We [believe] we must utilize all available technology to ensure we supply products that support our vision of being the foremost tank business in the world,” Joyce continued.
“We are installing an efficient, quality-driven, GFS manufacturing system that is capable of providing consistently high-quality products. We are confident our new GFS products will reach the U.S. market by Q3 2019.”
The new plant in South Yorkshire, England, will process the new plates, which will be flat-packed, containerized and shipped worldwide.
“I am sure the new value-added GFS tanks will boost our presence in the North American market where we already have a strong track record of successful installations,” Exports Sales Director Simon Scott said. These include a 3,000,000-gallon digester project in La Prairie, Canada; 120,000-gallon wastewater tanks for a New York bottling plant; and 130,000-gallon, FM-approved fire water tanks in Pennsylvania and the Caribbean.
The multimillion-dollar investment in the new product line underpins Balmoral’s strategy of differentiation in the marketplace. Its stated ambition of being the number one tank design, manufacturing and services company in the world has been strengthened with the ability to provide an even wider range of water- and wastewater-related products and services.
