Mixing systems

Chemineer recently released a new brochure featuring the company’s products and services entitled “Reliability and Technology in Mixing”. Since 1952, the company has supplied engineered mixing solutions and products to customers in a wide variety of industries worldwide. The 14-page brochure offers detailed information on its mixing capabilities, design tools and lab capabilities, manufacturing expertise, parts and aftermarket services and an overview of numerous process applications.

Pressure transmitters

A four-page, full-color brochure describes the ABB 2600T series of safety pressure transmitters. According to the brochure, these units reduce the number of transmitters necessary in SIL 2 and SIL 3 environments. One of the transmitters affords the same level of protection as two conventional transmitters connected in parallel in SIL 2 environments. In SIL 3 environments, two could replace three regular units.

Pipe locator

Schonstedt’s new XT512 is designed to locate 512Hz sondes commonly used with pushrod and tractor cameras. No separate transmitter is needed for this self contained unit. Full specifications and manuals are available on the company’s website. The locator also comes with the 50/60Hz passive detection mode. Like all of the company’s XT pipe locators, the new unit is designed for one-handed operation.
