Two new sensors have joined Rosemount Analytical's Variopol family. The Model 389VP and the 399VP offer the Variopol connector option that makes them simpler to install, service and replace. Loop tuning software

Compressed cylinder system
Robo-Control offers two models of its SCADA compatible, automatic system for discharging compressed chlorine or sulfur dioxide gas cylinders. Hydro Instruments released a new automatic valve for flow proportioning, residual control or compound loop control of vacuum gas chlorination and sulfonation systems. The Hydro Automatic Valve is enclosed in a NEMA 4X enclosure with a compact design. It is microprocessor based, keypad controlled and has an alphanumeric, two-line, 20-digit display. Applications include backup of process data in the event of a SCADA system communications failure, as well as conventional recording of historical data. The logging utility, SCADALog, is a Windows application used to upload historical data.
