NORWALK, CT, April 16, 2015 -- The South Florida Water Management District recently awarded a contract to Harry Pepper & Associates to construct a pump station for its Reservoir and Stormwater Treatment Area Project in Martin County, Fla.
Harry Pepper -- a subsidiary of EMCOR Group Inc., a company specializing in mechanical and electrical construction, industrial and energy infrastructure, and building services -- will be responsible for all aspects of construction for the 21,000-square-foot, 1,100-cubic-feet-per-second pump station in Martin County.
The scope of work includes installation of all electrical, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and communications and instrumentation systems. Harry Pepper's role also includes installation of an overhead bridge crane, potable and cooling water systems, four discharge pumps, and a dewatering and reinforced concrete structure.
