Hydranautics welcomes new management: Hydranautics, a provider of membrane technology, welcomes Vahsek Polasek to their team of industry specialists.
He brings with him over 20 years of technical, commercial and management experience in the reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, and desalination industries from Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Polasek began his career in the water treatment industry with DuPont, where he worked for thirteen years, then joining ROPUR in 1992, the exclusive distributor of Toray in Europe, as their regional sales manager for the Middle East and Africa.
Polasek now joins Hydranautics as the Key Account Manger for Europe and the Middle East, working with Manfred Schierach, Hydranautics' Managing Director of that same region.

USFilter names Scully director of e-marketing: USFilter has promoted William Scully to the new position of director of e-marketing, in charge of developing and instituting e-marketing programs and tools throughout the company.
He will be responsible for customer database management, web-based programs, sales and customer communications, the company said.
Scully has served the company in a variety of product management, marketing and communications positions since 1997. Prior to USFilter, he was general manager of the Municipal Systems Division for Westates Carbon.
USFilter names DeCampli municipal market manager: USFilter has promoted Karen DeCampli to the position of municipal market manager, in charge of the company's municipal water and wastewater market team.
Her responsibilities will include marketing strategies, product introduction and promotion, sales channels and customer relations, USFilter said.
DeCampli joined USFilter in 2000 as a marketing communications manager. DeCampli has over 20 years experience in the municipal filtration industry. Prior to joining USFilter, she served as vice president of sales and marketing for a manufacturer providing filtration products and subcontracting services.
