Purafil Inc. names new executive vice president, sales manager

Purafil Inc. has named David Nicholas executive vice president and COO. The company has also named Bob Rezuke sales manager for a twenty-state region from the Midwest to the Northeast.

DORAVILLE, Ga., Sept. 16, 2002 -- Purafil Inc., a manufacturer of gas-removal air filtration systems, recently named David Nicholas executive vice president and chief operating officer. The company has also named Bob Rezuke sales manager for a twenty-state region from the Midwest to the Northeast.

David Nicholas will oversee daily operations, develop new business strategies and secure marketing opportunities to expand the company's international and domestic markets.

Nicholas began working at Purafil in 1997 as vice president of sales and marketing. Before he joined the company, he was a production engineer and business manager at Dow Chemical Company. He later became president and CEO of Air Quality Sciences, Inc.

Nicholas earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Tennessee Technological University in 1980. His post graduate education includes a focus in marketing studies at Louisiana State University and industrial marketing at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

Bob Rezuke, who is experienced in technical product development and instrumentation, has patented several gas-phase filter composite technologies and has extensive marketing and sales experience.

Prior to joining Purafil, Rezuke was the gas-phase filter products business manager at Filtration Group, Inc. and cofounder and vice president of manufacturing for Extraction Systems, Inc. He earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Worcester State College and completed a four-year, chemistry-pharmacy program at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

For over 30 years Purafil has developed air-cleaning systems that eliminate, control and provide real-time monitoring of corrosive, odorous, hazardous and toxic gases. A privately held company, Purafil maintains nearly 20,000 installations in commercial, industrial and municipal environments worldwide.
