Bob Yeager named president of Emerson's Power & Water Solutions industry center

Emerson Process Management announced that Bob Yeager was named president of its Power & Water Solutions industry center, effective Jan. 1, 2004.

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 9, 2003 -- Emerson Process Management announced that Bob Yeager was named president of its Power & Water Solutions industry center, effective Jan. 1, 2004.

Combined with automation and optimization services, Emerson's Power & Water Solutions industry center provides advanced distributed process control software and systems, including the Ovation® expert control system, part of Emerson's PlantWeb® digital plant architecture.

Yeager, currently president of Emerson's Process Systems division, succeeds Ann Pauley, who is leaving Emerson after 30 years to pursue an opportunity in the entertainment industry with her sister, Jane Pauley. Ann Pauley, who joined Emerson (formerly Westinghouse) in 1973, has served as president of Power & Water Solutions since 1998.

"Under Ann's leadership, Power & Water Solutions has grown substantially. Yeager brings over 20 years of experience to his new position. He started his career with TRW as a software design engineer, then joined Westinghouse (now Emerson Process Management Power & Water Solutions) as a systems engineer in 1982. He held positions of increasing responsibility there, including manager of control and IS integration, manager of strategic engineering and finally, vice president of sales, marketing and engineering.

Yeager holds a bachelor's degree in data and systems analysis from Carnegie Mellon and a master's in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh.
