T-Rack vario: Compact ultrafiltration technology from inge watertechnologies AG.
TRIER, Germany, Mar. 28, 2011 -- As part of an effort to upgrade its drinking water treatment plant, the town of Trier, Germany, will incorporate ultrafiltration technology from inge watertechnologies AG.
Starting in the spring of 2012, Trier's water treatment plant will use inge's T-Rack vario system, an ultra-compact product that incorporates 312 dizzer XL 0.9 MB 60 modules in six filtration lines.
At the core of the modules is the company's patented Multibore membrane, which will remove viruses, bacteria, and suspended solids from Trier's water supplies at a rate of about 1,600 m3 per hour.
The company won the contract after a successful, long-term pilot installation there.
