KIEV, Ukraine, June 17, 2008 -- The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) and the Chemical Technology Department of the National Technical University of Ukraine Kiev Polytechnic Institute (NTUU KPI) announce the opening of a new, advanced Technical and Educational Center for Water Treatment at NTUU KPI. The official inauguration ceremony will take place at the Chemical Technology Department of NTUU KPI on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 10:30 local time.
Dow's global commitment to creating innovative technologies and solutions to helping solve the world's most pressing problems makes the objective and activities of NTUU KPI a natural opportunity for partnership. The installation of the new Center for Water Treatment includes Dow Water Solutions' world-class products that will help NTUU KPI students further develop their knowledge and experience in the water treatment industry. The center's aim is to promote awareness about the importance of water and the most appropriate usage of this precious resource.
