CDM's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Thomas D. Furman Jr., made the announcement Tuesday as part of the firm's participation in Singapore International Water Week 2008.
The new Technical Center will promote the application of advanced planning and simulation models, decision software, and geospatial information systems for improved understanding and management of sustainable urban environments.

"Singapore has demonstrated global leadership in the advancement of water technology," Furman commented. "It is important for us to locate our new Technical Center in this rapidly developing global water hub. This gives CDM an important platform for research, strategy, and applications in Singapore, the region, and globally."
