Seccua, Hydranautics to jointly develop new markets, expand product offering

STEINGADEN, Germany and OCEANSIDE, CA, Mar. 10, 2009 -- Seccua GmbH, a technology leader in the field of standardized ultrafiltration systems for drinking water treatment, and Nitto Denko/Hydranautics, a global leader in ultrafiltration, microfiltration and reverse osmosis technologies, have signed a cooperative agreement to jointly develop new markets as well as to expand Hydranautics' extensive product offering with 4" ultrafiltration modules supplied by Seccua.

Seccua, signed a cooperative agreement with Nitto Denko/Hydranautics. Based in Oceanside, California Hydranautics has to date produced and distributed modules for large-scale projects in the Ultrafiltration market. This new Seccua/Hydranautics partnership opens the door to a dominant position in the rapidly growing global market for small-scale installations. In the course of the cooperation, Seccua will share its knowledge in the field of standardized ultrafiltration small-scale installations with Hydranautics and will supply the company with ultrafiltration modules for the small-scale market segment. The small ultrafiltration modules are an ideal addition to the product range of Hydranautics, while the global distribution network of Hydranautics opens up completely new markets for Seccua.
