The Memcor ultra filtration membranes provided by Siemens have a physical barrier to remove suspended solids, microbes, bacteria, viruses and turbidity without the need for chemical pretreatment. The membrane system will produce excellent and consistent water quality in a very compact footprint, while offering cost competitiveness compared to more traditional methods of treatment. This system has been proven in numerous drinking water applications all over the world.
As one of the two tap water resources of Wuxi city, Taihu Lake has long suffered from discharge of industrial and municipal wastewater.
