CAMBRIDGE, MA, Aug. 4, 2009 -- CDM and Miahona (Our Water), a subsidiary of ACWA Power Development, have announced their new partnership to execute water projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Through this collaboration, CDM and Miahona will manage engineering and consulting for water sector projects, including providing studies, designs, construction management, operations, and management consulting services.
Together, the two firms will execute such projects as brackish groundwater development for domestic purposes; aquifer storage and recovery; groundwater studies, evaluations, treatment, and distribution; design, construction, and operation of water and wastewater facilities; energy efficiency evaluations at operating facilities; sludge and biosolids management; and operations and maintenance of water, reclaimed water, and wastewater systems and treatment facilities.
Miahona and CDM will mutually benefit from the joint framework agreement.
