Call for papers issued for AMTA 2007 Conference

It's official - the American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) has moved to an Annual Conference and Exhibition and is pleased to announce the call for papers for the 2007 Conference & Exposition "Why Gamble With Your Future? -- Go Membranes!" which is scheduled for Las Vegas, NV, on July 23-26, 2007. STUART, FL, Aug. 22, 2006 -- It's official - the American Membrane Technology Association (AMTA) has moved to an Annual Conference and Exhibition and is pleased to announce the call for papers for the 2007 Conference & Exposition "Why Gamble With Your Future? -- Go Membranes!" which is scheduled for Las Vegas, NV, on July 23-26, 2007.

The conference will explore the development, implementation and operation of membrane facilities to provide new water supplies and enhance water reliability and water quality. Key program focus areas will include coastal and inland brackish water desalination, seawater desalination, membrane filtration and contaminant removal, membrane bioreactors and water reuse applications.

AMTA wishes to invite authors and experts in the field to present abstracts on a variety of membrane topics. Paper themes being sought for possible presentation include:
1. Planning and Policy Challenges
2. Coastal and Inland Brackish Water Challenges
3. Seawater Desalination
4. Wastewater Treatment & Reuse
5. Membrane & MBR Filtration
6. Membrane Plant Management: Operating Principles and Practical Experiences
7. Concentrate Treatment, Recovery and Disposal
