BLOOMINGTON, MN, June 16, 2006 -- Aqua Innovations Inc., is pleased to announce that Pace Analytical Services, an independent testing laboratory, completed testing of a lab/pilot scale device utilizing Aqua Innovation's patented electrolytic technology to establish hydrogen and oxygen production per kilowatt hour of energy input.

For a specific device, oxygen/hydrogen production is a function of current flow, and efficiency of production is a function of current density, i.e., device design.

For the device tested, optimal production appeared to be achieved with a 1000 mS conductivity water (about 500 ppm Total Dissolved Solids). Increasing the conductivity, resulted in higher current flows and increased output from that device. There was a measured reduction in efficiency due to less than optimal current density.

At the optimal conditions for the device tested, the system produced 0.79 mol O2/kwh, or approximately 0.64 CF/kwh. Hydrogen production was measured at 1.47 mol H2/kwh, approximately 1.24 CF/kwh.

The test results have pointed the way to established engineering standards for the Aqua Innovation's technology. The company is presently working on systems that will handle the higher current density of high conductivity water, and expects to develop a series of designs with optimal production efficiency for a variety of applications.

Further testing will be conducted to establish the efficiency of oxygen transfer to solution. The Aqua Innovation's technology produces extremely small bubbles of oxygen, facilitating its dissolution into the fluid. Based on experience thus far the device appears to be capable of achieving a high rate of solubility in low oxygen conditions. The combination of high correlation with theoretical gas production, and high dissolution rates has the capacity to be a cost effective way to oxygenate or "aerate" water in a variety of applications.

Aqua Innovations Inc. (www.aquainnovationsinc.com) foresees applications of its technology in the water treatment, waste treatment, and biotechnology areas. Specifically, it will provide a cost effective, highly controllable system for maintaining oxygen levels in aerobic microbial systems. This would include aerobic waste treatment lagoons, fermentation process in the food and pharmaceutical industries, and other industrial processes dependent on maintaining oxygen levels in a oxygen depleting environment. In addition, the company has begun testing the efficacy of its devices in water treatment process that benefit from oxidation by oxygen of contaminants in the water, including iron reduction, irrigation with low oxygen well water, etc.
