Ronen Shechter

Ronen is CTO in Fluence - a global provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, specializing in decentralized systems. In 2008 Ronen co-founded and was CTO in Emefcy, which created MABR based solutions while also developing electrogenic bio reactors. Previously, in 2001, he founded AqWise and was CTO there for 7 years. AqWise developed and now provides its own MBBR and IFAS solutions.

Ronen has over 25 years’ experience in water and wastewater technologies with over a dozen patents and applications. He is a chemical engineer, graduated in 1991 cum laude from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
