Scott Daeschner
Scott Daeschner is the GIS Manager for the City of San Diego. He has worked with spatial information technologies and remote sensing systems for thirty years in support of local, state and federal agencies. He has developed technology solutions for emergency response and coordination, asset management, predictive modeling, community engagement, environmental monitoring and sustainability. Scott worked to implement SAP/ESRI geoenablement at the City along with LEMUR and an asset management planning tool for lifecycle planning and CIP bundling. He received his B.S. from the University of California Santa Cruz and continued research with the University of South Florida and San Diego State University.
