Today, SUEZ’s Water Technologies & Solutions completed an acquisition of Sentinel Monitoring Systems, a real-time microbial monitoring company headquartered in Tucson, Ariz.
Sentinel Monitoring Systems develops products that provide real-time and near-real-time solutions to monitor the effectiveness of microbial control within life sciences ultrapure water and manufacturing processes. Under this purchase agreement, SUEZ has acquired all of Sentinel Monitoring Systems’ business. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Sentinel states that its technology can detect individual microorganisms very quickly, reducing the risk of microbial contamination and allowing manufacturers to respond quickly to control risk and minimize impacts to downstream operations.
With Sentinel Monitoring Systems' advanced technology and industry knowledge, SUEZ plans to enhance its Analytical Instruments portfolio. SUEZ hopes to become a leading supplier to offer a full range of compendial water testing methods.
