The IBWA Annual Business Conference will take place on Nov. 8-11, 2021.
Due to the negative impact of the surging delta variant of the Covid-19 virus, particularly in Texas, IBWA will conduct the conference through a virtual platform, as was done in 2020, according to the IBWA press release.
The conference hours each day will be 11:00 am – 5:30 pm EST to accommodate different time zones.
According to IBWA’s press release, the health and safety of IBWA members is very important and this virtual format will provide an effective way to share the latest information on industry practices, regulations, products, and services. This unique opportunity will also save time and money because travel, and its related expenses, will be eliminated.
The virtual conference in 2020 was a great success, especially for the education sessions and the committee meetings, as well as the General Session and keynote address. However, the virtual trade show did not provide the exhibitors with the level of interaction with bottlers that they wanted. As a result, IBWA will not be having a virtual trade show this year. However, IBWA is researching other ways to highlight the products and services that suppliers have to offer, and bottlers need.
More information will follow within the next two weeks about the meeting schedule and registration fees. Keep an eye on your email box, adds IBWA.
