Top franchise business owners from around world receive awards in 14 categories at eco-friendly international franchise business' 2007 convention.

CABAZON, CA, March 28, 2007 -- Fourteen category winners for superior business practices and operations were announced at American Leak Detection's Convention 2007 awards banquet earlier this month at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, CA.

Entrepreneur of the Year was awarded to Matthew & Shari Botermans, owners and operators of the American Leak Detection franchise in Portland, Oregon. The Botermans were recognized for demonstrating innovative management skills, building a highly successful business venture and having a winning entrepreneurial spirit. The Botermans have been in business more than three years and are active in their community.

The Franchisee of the Year award went to Hillel Salomon & Howie Katz of the East Bay, California office. Salomon and Katz have gained respect among their peers and were determined to be the "best of the best," a true franchise business model.

"These awards are given to our best and finest franchise owners who exemplify excellent business practices that ultimately translate to successful operations that serve their customers in the highest and most professional manner," says Stan Berenbaum, CEO of American Leak Detection (ALD).

American Leak Detection Convention 2007 was titled "Moving Forward: Creating & Sustaining a Climate for Growth." The international gathering of ALD owners and operators met for four days and brought together leak experts to share information on successful strategies to solving large and small scale leak problems in an eco-friendly manner. The vendor and trade show featured eco-friendly technology, state of the art infrared cameras and the latest thermal imaging equipment.
