ARVADA, CO, and TORONTO, ON, Canada, May 23, 2008 -- The City of Arvada (the City) has completed their implementation of CIS Infinity®, the customer information and billing solution offered by Advanced Utility Systems Corporation (Advanced).

The transition from the City's legacy system to CIS Infinity was seamless, due in large part to the dedication of both the Arvada Core Team as well as the Advanced implementation team.

Joe Holtz, Project Manager for the City recently congratulated all team members on a "Great job on a very successful and smooth implementation."

From Phase One: Project Start-up to Phase Five: Cut-over and Live, both the City and Advanced committed the necessary resources, time and effort required for a successful implementation.

Advanced assigned a Project Manager, Technical Lead and Conversion Specialist to the City's implementation that did not change throughout the life of the project. This continuity of staff ensured that the City had a team that was very familiar with its business requirements that could quickly address any issues that arose. Furthermore, the team took responsibility for the entire project from start to finish.

Steven Hammond, Executive Vice President, describes the City's and Advanced's contribution to the process: "The City was very focused and knew what milestones they needed to reach and what goals they needed to accomplish throughout the implementation. By providing the right amount of resources and time to these goals the City allowed the Advanced team to fully apply their skills and expertise to the project."

With their implementation complete the City can now provide utility billing and customer information services to its 35,000 water, wastewater and storm water customers. The City will be using CIS Infinity, Version 3 which is currently seamlessly integrated with their Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system from Tele-Works.

The City is one of five clients located in the state of Colorado for Advanced.

Advanced is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harris Computer Systems that provides Customer Information and Billing solutions exclusively to utilities and municipalities.
