WEFTEC 2022
Conference: October 8-12, 2021
Exhibition: October 10-12, 2021
The Water Environment Federation’s 95th annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) will be held Oct. 8–12 in New Orleans, La., at the Morial Convention Center. The annual water quality event will include 120 technical sessions, dozens of educational sessions in pavilions, 16 workshops, and seven technology spotlights from exhibiting companies.
Educational topics cover a wide range of interests, including PFAS, workforce issues, infrastructure funding, utility management, facility operations, treatment design, and more. There are a variety of ways to learn at WEFTEC, from workshops to interactive sessions to lecture sessions.
On Monday, October 10 at 8:30 a.m., Water Environment Federation (WEF) President Jamie Eichenberger will welcome WEFTEC’s audience to the Opening General Session. He also will discuss the direction of the water sector and WEF’s role in its advancement. Following Eichenberger’s remarks, Shama Hyder, an award-winning brand strategist, global speaker, and bestselling author will deliver the 2022 Keynote. She will share her insights on how modern communications, marketing, and branding are more important than ever for the water sector.
WEFTEC also includes many opportunities to connect and meet others with similar interests and affinities, particularly in Learning Exchange sessions where peer-to-peer learning takes place, and the Meet Ups in the exhibition where people can casually connect and build their network.
More than 700 exhibiting companies will display their products and services on the exhibition floor, which also features an Innovation Pavilion, Stormwater Pavilion, and Global Center.
