The Trojan Ultraviolet Advanced Oxidation (UV AOP) demonstration system aims to solve more than treatment needs for utilities looking at water reuse to bolster water supply for their communities.
Outfitted with oxidant instrumentation, a human machine interface, dosage pumps and a UV chamber, the UV AOP unit is a fully-packaged for demonstration, piloting and feasibilty assessments. Its small footprint makes it easy to integrate to drop and play.
The skid is also customizeable to include utility iconography and logos as it can double as an educational tool for board members, council members and the public. Scott Binder, technical marketing manager for Trojan Technologies, said the unit was designed with that aspect in mind.
The UV AOP skid also has a built in sampling interface to gather upstream, influent and effluent samples for testing.
Those interested in learning more about its capabilities can do so on the Trojan Technologies website, and the piloting team is available to answer questions and coordinate the details with utilities.
