• 2010 conferences to be co-located in Nashville
DENVER, CO, Sept. 21, 2009 -- The American Water Works Association announced today that the 2010 Distribution Systems Symposium and Exposition (DSS) and Water Security Congress (WSC) Call for Papers is now open.
For the first time, the 2010 DSS and WSC events will be co-located on Sept. 12-15, 2010, in Nashville, Tenn. The co-location is intended to provide presenters, attendees, and exhibitors with an amazing opportunity to benefit from two conferences in the same location, two events for the price of one.
Both conferences will connect water and security professionals for a four-day event that offers professional sessions, technical tours and networking opportunities. Exhibitors will demonstrate the newest in products and services to maintain a safe, high-quality water supply.
Suggested topics for papers include water loss and contamination control, asset management, network modeling, distribution system design, contamination warning systems, physical cyber security, and security emergency response.
Water professionals around the globe are encouraged to submit abstracts for these events through January 2010. For more information on AWWA specialty conferences and registration details, go to www.awwa.org/conferences/dss or www.awwa.org/conferences/security.
