PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 4, 2005 (PRNewswire) -- Effective immediately, management consulting and engineering firm R. W. Beck Inc. has opened an office in the Philadelphia area to better assist solid waste, water and energy clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.
In addition, two senior consultants will staff the new office.
Mark Everett, a veteran consultant with more than 20 years of experience, will serve as office director and senior manager for the office. Specializing in solid waste and environmental projects, Everett previously was with Gannett Fleming in Valley Forge, Penn. He holds a bachelor's degree from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa., and a master's degree in city planning from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Don Birnesser will serve as a senior engineer for the Mid-Atlantic office. As a former president of the Pennsylvania Keystone Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), he brings experienced knowledge to the solid waste and energy projects he will undertake. A registered professional engineer, Birnesser was also formerly with Gannett Fleming. He holds a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pa.
