Summary

Water challenges are becoming increasingly severe due to a combination of climate change, overexploitation, and pollution. The region is experiencing more frequent and intense droughts, particularly in the western United States, which is putting immense pressure on water resources.

Wetlands, rivers, and groundwater aquifers are being depleted at alarming rates, undermining their ability to provide communities with fresh water. This situation is exacerbated by the growing urban population, which is projected to face even greater water scarcity in the coming decades.

Addressing these challenges requires urgent and coordinated efforts to manage water resources sustainably and mitigate the impacts of climate change. Schneider Electric propose to their customers a consultative selling approach to understand the specific challenges and needs, define the medium and long-term sustainability goals and provide the digital solutions to solve them. This process requires a combination of Consultancy, technology and delivery capabilities included in a digital transformation journey.

By utilizing Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure platform and AVEVA’s industrial software, businesses can achieve enhanced operational efficiency, sustainability, and innovation. The EcoStruxure platform provides a robust foundation for connecting and managing devices, while AVEVA’s software offers advanced analytics, visualization, and control capabilities.

AVEVA’s Unified Operations Center (UOC) enables the integration of Information Technology (IT) with Operational Technology (OT), creating a seamless flow of data across all levels of an organization. This convergence enables real-time data collection and analysis, empowering organizations to make informed decisions quickly. It also facilitates predictive maintenance, reducing downtime and operational costs.
