Aging infrastructure and tighter regulations have led to rapid growth of the microfiltration and ultrafiltration membrane market since the 1980s. As competition grows in what is now a well-established market, the challenge for submerged product manufacturers is to continue to innovate in order to strengthen these advantages and expand into new applications. Recent testing show that high turbidity events were experienced in the trials and both modules indicated a clear ability to maintain operability under the tougher conditions.
