Aging infrastructure and tighter regulations have led to rapid growth of the microfiltration and ultrafiltration membrane market since the 1980s. As competition grows in what is now a well-established market, the challenge for submerged product manufacturers is to continue to innovate in order to strengthen these advantages and expand into new applications.
