Sacramento wastewater plant aided with four Morrison Pumps

SACRAMENTO, CA, May 16, 2016 -- Morrison Pump Company of Hollywood, Florida, has been awarded the order to supply four Morrison Vertical Mixed Flow Pumps for the Nitrifying Sidestream Treatment (NST) Facility the EchoWater Project in Sacramento, California. The NST Project was awarded to Flatiron Construction Corp as part of the overall $2 billion WastewaterRecycling Project. The new EchoWater Treatment Plant will improve water quality with a nearly 95% reduction in ammonia discharged to the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta.

The four Morrison VOM Model Pumps will be high efficiency, fixed speed, mixed flow pumps with forged stainless steel impellers. These Morrison Pumps will be environmentally-friendly oil lubricated pumps with mechanical seals, ensuring no oil/contaminants are passed to the environment. Anticipated pump delivery is in first quarter of 2017.
