Flomatic’s wafer style check valve 888VFD model series is the answer to next-generation VFD controlled pump systems. With a unique poppet design, it operates quietly and efficiently across a wide range of flow velocities. Suitable for direct mounting of butterfly valves, the 888VFD model eliminates the need for a spool piece, ultimately saving energy and maintenance costs for industrial applications and municipalities alike.
Flomatic offers a variety of wafer style check valve body options. The 888VFD model has a full fusion bonded epoxy coated ductile iron body, while the 888S6VFD model features a full 316 stainless steel design. Both models include a 316 stainless steel poppet and an EPDM standard seat. These valves deliver water safely and efficiently as they are lead-free certified in accordance with NSF/ANSI 372 standards. The features and benefits of these valves include:
