New York, NY, FEB 12, 2020 -- GoAigua, the software and analytics company specialized in providing data connectivity and software solutions to water utilities, announces the creation of a U.S. subsidiary, GoAigua Inc. and the appointment of a new CEO and VP, Business Development: Pablo Calabuig and Brad Dreier.
Based in the Soho area of New York, the team brings unrivaled experience in the digital transformation space and the US water sector to help expand the GoAigua platform reach into the U.S. Having won several global awards such as Aquatech’s 2019 for its IoT and Big Data Platform, the company has been helping water utilities worldwide unlock value from their distributed data generated by SCADAs, smart meters, IoT devices, GIS, CMMS, and many other sources. Through their unique value proposition, they not only bring software solutions to their clients, but also make sure utilities integrate their informational siloes and systems with one another to have them running live.
Pablo Calabuig, CEO at GoAigua Inc. comments: “We were born out of a 130-year-old family-owned company, and one of the most innovative water utilities worldwide: Global Omnium, with headquarters in Valencia (Spain). This provides us with a unique value proposition to our clients. Both our platform and solutions were working in more than 400 municipalities before we started commercializing them. They are not a prototype, they are real platforms and systems that have already helped utilities save billions of gallons of water every year, more than 15% in energy consumption, and millions of tons of CO2 emissions. “
Brad Dreier, VP, Business Development: “At GoAigua we breathe innovation, which is why I joined the team. I never thought it would be possible to achieve what GoAigua has done through data connectivity. With our help, I truly believe water utilities can change the way they look at data and turn it into action.”
